Our Mission

Paseo Responsable’s mission is to minimize the environmental and social harm caused by the proposed bike path project while advocating for responsible, community and expert-driven solutions. We are not against progress but demand that development respects our environment, public access, and long-term sustainability.

Our Values

We believe in protecting Puerto Rico’s natural heritage, ensuring public access to beaches, and preserving the balance between human activity and nature. Our commitment stems from a deep respect for the island, its people, and the ecosystems that sustain us. Rincón’s coastline is a shared treasure, and we will fight to keep it accessible, healthy, and thriving for future generations.

Our Goals

We challenge government agencies to uphold environmental laws and prioritize sustainable planning. Instead of allowing unchecked construction in protected coastal areas, we advocate for solutions that preserve green spaces, reefs, and wildlife habitats while supporting responsible infrastructure improvements. We aim to work with local leaders, environmental experts, and the community to ensure development respects both nature and the people who call Rincón home.
